Upcoming Holidays to Give Back and Shop

Upcoming Holidays

Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday have passed, you might be thinking that there are no more ways to score major deals during this season. However, there are a few more upcoming holidays that you may not be aware of. These holidays celebrate giving back as well as helping you save money while doing online shopping. Take a look at some of these upcoming holidays:

Giving Tuesday

This year, Giving Tuesday falls on November 29th. On this day, which started in 2012, people all over the world dedicate their time to give back to their communities and those who are less fortunate. Heavily driven by social media, participants share their experiences globally using the hashtags #GivingTuesday, #MyGivingStory, and #UNSelfie.  So far, 71 countries have participated and over $116 million has been raised. Green Monday

Green Monday, also known as Cyber Monday 2, is the second biggest online shopping holiday of the year. Much like Cyber Monday, Green Monday features special money-saving deals for online shoppers. Stores that participate in this holiday include Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and more. Most deals start at midnight on December 12th.

Free Shipping Day

On Friday, December 16th, over 600 online stores will be participating in Free Shipping Day. This is a great holiday for any last-minute holiday shoppers. If you need to grab a few small items, Free Shipping Day will allow you to make these purchases without forcing you to buy more than you need to avoid paying for shipping. For a complete list of all Free Shipping Day offers, visit FreeShippingDay.com, which will feature an updated list at midnight that day.
