Toilet paper is the Hummer SUV of the paper industry, according to Allen Hershkowitz, a senior scientist with the Natural Resources Defense Council, an environmental group. In the U.S., soft fluffy two or three ply toilet paper is made by chopping down decades old trees, and environmentalists want to change that. They want Americans to use single-ply paper, and made from recycled paper goods.
Since single-ply toilet paper is much cheaper than double-ply, you can save the planet and money at the same time. And you can save even more with Befrugal.com's coupons. Visit the Befrugal.com Grocery Coupons section, or the Local Coupons section.
