BeFrugal and RetailMeNot both offer online coupons from approximately 50,000 stores, including 100% of Internet Retailer’s Top 500 Stores. They each offer in-store printable coupons, in addition to online coupon codes.
BeFrugal features grocery coupons from approximately 3,000 stores, where RetailMeNot does not have grocery coupons available. RetailMeNot features coupons from about 75 restaurants, and BeFrugal offers coupons from about 250 restaurants.
All online coupons are Guaranteed to Work for each of the 4000+ stores in BeFrugal’s cash back program.
RetailMeNot does not offer any guarantee.
Cash back
BeFrugal offers cash back when shopping at 4,000 different stores, and will match 125% of a higher cash back rate through its Cash Back Guarantee. 75% of the Internet Retailer Top 500 Stores are included in BeFrugal’s cash back program, and BeFrugal also offers cash back on exclusive local deals (through Groupon or similar).
RetailMeNot does not offer cash back.

BeFrugal and RetailMeNot both provide email support to customers.
BeFrugal also offers live chat support from 8:00am – 4:30pm EST Monday through Friday. RetailMeNot does not have live support available.
Sign-up Requirements
In order to sign up for BeFrugal or RetailMeNot, only an email address is required. For both sites, membership is free, and you do not need to enter any credit card information.
