What is BeFrugal Rewards?
BeFrugal Rewards is our loyalty program where members can earn points by playing mobile games, uploading grocery receipts, answering surveys, and completing partner offers.

How do I earn points?
You can earn points by completing activities listed in the BeFrugal Rewards section on our website or in the BeFrugal app.

How do I check my points balance?
You can view your points on your Account Summary Page. For a detailed breakdown, visit your Points Activity Page.

How do I redeem points?
Once you reach at least 5,000 points, you can convert them to cash from your Points Activity Page.

What are the points-to-cash conversion rates?
• 5,000 Points = $5.00
• 10,000 Points = $11.00
• 20,000 Points = $23.00
• 50,000 Points = $60.00
• 100,000 Points = $125.00 -
I activated a BeFrugal Rewards offer but don't see it in my account.
Only completed offers that have been reported to us will appear on your Points Activity Page. To see your activated offers, go to the BeFrugal Rewards Page and select "Reward History" from the menu in the top left corner.

How long does it take for points to show in my account?
• Surveys: Usually same day
• Receipts: Up to 3 days
• Games and offers: Varies by offer – check the specific offer details for an estimated timeline. -
I completed an offer but didn't receive points. What should I do?
• For games and partner offers, go to the BeFrugal Rewards page, open the menu (top left), and select "Reward History." Click "Offers," find your offer, select "View Details," and then click "Report a problem" to submit a support ticket.
• For grocery receipts: Go to the "Receipt Scanning" tab and look for any rejected submissions. Click "View Details" to request a manual review. -
Do I need to confirm my phone number to activate offers?
For games, you will likely need to add and confirm your phone number once.

BeFrugal does not sell or share your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for details. Third-party offers and games are subject to their own privacy terms.

How do I earn points from games?
Visit the Games tab in BeFrugal Rewards, select a game, and follow the instructions to install and play. Complete the required tasks to earn points automatically.

Are games available for both Android and iOS?
Yes! Check the game tile for a device icon to see which platform it's available on. Make sure to select your device(s)

How do I see games for my device(s)?
From the Games or Offers tab, select from Android, iPhone and iPad at the top right. You can choose any or all but to earn points your device must match to the game offer.

Can I earn points from games I already play?
Usually not. Most offers are for new players only.

When will game points appear in my account?
It varies by game. Some points may appear as pending before they’re available to redeem. Check the offer details for timing of points awarded.

I finished a game offer but didn’t get my points. What should I do?
Double-check the offer’s requirements and reporting timeline. If everything looks correct and you’re still missing points, go to "Reward History," click "View Details" for the offer, and select "Report a problem" to submit a ticket.

Can I earn BeFrugal Rewards points for uploading receipts?
Yes, you can earn points for purchasing select items from participating stores then uploading the receipts to the BeFrugal.com website or mobile app. To start, go to the the BeFrugal Rewards page on the BeFrugal website or select BeFrugal Rewards from the menu in the BeFrugal mobile app.
From here, select the tab 'Receipt Scanning' to browse available offers, stores and categories. Make sure to add offers to your list BEFORE you upload your receipt(s).

How do I submit receipts?
Go to the BeFrugal Rewards section and choose the receipt upload option. Take clear photos of your paper receipt, showing the store name, date, and item details. For long receipts, take multiple overlapping photos and submit multiple images for each receipt.

Where can I find offer terms?
Click the image of the item in the offer to see its terms. Make sure the item qualifies and is eligible at your selected store.

Do I need to add grocery offers before uploading receipts?
Yes. You must add each offer to your list before uploading a receipt. Only offers added beforehand will be eligible.

What should I keep in mind when submitting receipts?
• Receipts must be unaltered, readable, and submitted during the offer’s valid period.
• Only paper receipts are accepted – no digital or emailed versions.
• Make sure you have fulfilled all requirements of purchase for each offer
• Make sure offer is valid at the store you are uploading a receipt for. Not all offers are available at all stores. -
Tips for taking receipt photos?
Lay the receipt flat in good lighting, ensure it’s fully visible and in focus. For long receipts, take overlapping pictures. Avoid blurry or cropped images, as they may not be accepted.

Are all offers valid at all stores?
No, not all offers are valid at every store. Each offer will list which stores it applies to, so make sure to check this before shopping to ensure your purchase qualifies for rewards. Note that some offers are exclusive to one store.

Can I upload receipts from any store?
You can upload from many national and regional grocery stores. However, offers are only valid at participating locations.

Can I upload the same receipt more than once?
No. Each receipt can only be submitted once. Duplicate uploads may lead to account restrictions.

How many receipts can I upload?
You can upload up to 10 receipts per week.

What if I didn’t receive points for my receipt?

Can I share receipt?
No, each grocery receipt can only be uploaded by one member. The first member to upload will be the only one to receive points.

Make sure your profile is accurate and complete – this helps determine eligibility. Some surveys include consistency checks, so it’s important to answer truthfully. Suspicious activity or poor-quality responses can lead to survey disqualification or being blocked from future surveys.

Don’t use VPNs or proxies, avoid rushing, and provide thoughtful, consistent answers. Suspicious or low-quality responses may lead to disqualification or being blocked from surveys.

Where can I see points earned from surveys?
Survey rewards are listed on your Points Activity Page.

When will my survey points appear in my account?
Most appear within 5-10 minutes, but some may take up to 24 hours depending on the provider.

I didn’t earn the amount I expected. Why?
You may have been disqualified during the survey or hit a completion cap. Partial points might be awarded for incomplete surveys. Check your transaction history for details.

Are surveys created by BeFrugal?
No. All surveys are provided by third-party partners. Eligibility and rewards are determined by those partners.

Partner Offers can be found under the "Offers" tab in BeFrugal Rewards. These are special deals from third-party partners that earn you points once completed.

I can’t find an offer I saw earlier. Where did it go?
Offers change often and may be removed. Check back later to see if it returns. For activated offers, go to "Reward History" to view details and status.

How do I cancel a subscription from a Partner Offer?
You’ll need to contact the subscription provider directly. BeFrugal cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
