"bunny"

Spring is in the air. My allergies are starting to act up and my nieces are asking what the Easter bunny is going to bring them this year. I am the lucky Easter bunny this year. So it's my responsibility of setting up the Easter egg hunt for several little ones with high expectations. Since funds are low and hopes are high I have pulled together some ideas for this year's hunt. For holiday inspiration always first reference Martha Stewart. I wish I could be crafty like you Martha.

Supplies

To host an Easter egg hunt you need supplies and you need a lot of them. Depending on your group you will need certain supplies. I know I will eat a lot of candy (just being honest) while I put everything together so I ordered extra candy. Decorations and food (because unfortunately we can't live off candy) need to be covered as well. Along with go to discount stores like Target, and Walmart take a look at these stores as well.

Oriental Trading Post is one of my favorite stores for party supplies. They have some great novelty gifts, decorations, and eggs. The prices are hard to beat for supplies. I have never had an issue with customer service which is a big thing to me. My packages have arrived by the delivery date and nothing has come in damaged.

I love candy. The Candy Warehouse is a great site to order large amounts of candy for any occasion. They sell brands that children of all ages love. With a bulk discount price and blow out sale section this is a go to candy site when you need large quantities.

Food

To save your sanity, go with the comfort foods that everyone likes. Kids are fussy eaters so just put out the easy food that the little ones like and won't throw everywhere.

Sugar Stand has much more than just candy. They also have snacks like raisins, nuts, crackers, popcorn and more. The Sugar Stand also has a great selection of sugar free candy if there are any diabetic kids coming by. The Food Network has a section of Easter recipes that you can make for the kids and for the adults.

Crafts

To give the Easter bunny extra time to set up the hunt put out some crafts that both kids and parents can do together. This easy Easter Kaleidoscope can keep kids entertained after the Easter holiday is over. This article also has some easy Easter craft ideas. Take a peek at All Free Crafts holiday section that has different projects for all skill levels.

For set up tips take a look at this hunt guide. This planning guide will help you to ensure you won't have a rotting egg smell a week after Easter. Like always be sure to check out BeFrugal to save this Easter season.

Happy Easter!
