Your savings on the gift card purchase will depending on the popularity of the card and the inventory in stock, but you can likely save more when you\u00a0use those cards\u00a0by stacking a sale and\/or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.befrugal.com\/printable\/retail\/\" target=\"_blank\">printed coupon <\/a>to\u00a0buy anything from candy and decorations to costumes.<\/li>\n<li>Score <a href=\"http:\/\/freebiefindingmom.com\/cheap-free-candy-halloween\/\" target=\"_blank\">cheap or free candy for Halloween <\/a>with this advice from Kelli Bhattacharjee, blogger at <a href=\"freebiefindingmom.com\" target=\"_blank\">freebiefindingmom.com<\/a>. Kelli gets 650 kids who trick or treat at her house, so the candy costs add up fast.<\/li>\n<li>Another candy buying tip comes from Lauren Bialek-Sachs, owner of <a href=\"http:\/\/sweetcitycandy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sweet City Candy<\/a>: Since buying candy in the supermarket or drug store can be expensive,\u00a0purchase from a bulk candy supplier to save money. She points out that the volume of candy they buy for\u00a0Halloween easily falls into the bulk range.\u00a0 In addition, Lauren says consumers can save money and time\u00a0if they make their purchases online, as online shopping can be quicker and more convenient than going to the store.<\/li>\n<li>Albert Ko, Co-Founder of <a href=\"DealGuppy.com\" target=\"_blank\">DealGuppy.com<\/a>, agrees with the online shopping strategy. He says prices at brick and mortar stores will be significantly higher and encourages the use of online <a href=\"http:\/\/www.befrugal.com\/coupons\/\" target=\"_blank\">coupon codes<\/a> to save. Don't wait too long to shop! He projects that coupons will expire about 2 weeks before the holiday as last minute purchases are inevitable.<\/li>\n<li>Peter Murray, Business Development at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifecounts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">LifeCounts<\/a> points out that one of the biggest costs of celebrating Halloween is costume costs. He suggests that consumers assemble\u00a0a costume from thrift or secondhand stores, rather than paying a retailer for a brand new, complete costume.<\/li>\n<li>If you are having a party,\u00a0\u00a0save money on party favors\u00a0by serving drinks that can double as gifts. This advice comes from Cindy Springer, partner of the company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bottleyourbrand.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bottle Your Brand<\/a>. She suggests you brew your own beer at home\u00a0with a custom label\u00a0and\/or create Halloween-themed labels for bottled water.\u00a0 Enjoy them during the event then encourage guests to take some bottles home with them on their way out.<\/li>\n<li>Take advantage of Groupon deals in your area\u00a0for cheap\u00a0Halloween family activities - like haunted houses, corn mazes, and kid friendly costume parties - says Robert Nickell, founder of <a href=\"Daddyscrubs.com\" target=\"_blank\">Daddyscrubs.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>How do YOU save time and money for your Halloween expenses?
