Recently, the team at BeFrugal interviewed Teri Gault, the founder and CEO of The Grocery Game. Teri's inspiration for The Grocery Game came from her own successful experiences with deal hunting. Every week she sat down and searched for the best advertised and un-advertised grocery deals in her area; she also sought out any additional coupons that could be applied to those deals.
Through her efforts, Teri saved her family lots of money, and she suddenly realized that she could help other families do the same. Teri's business started out small: she supplied her "grocery lists" to people in Southern California. Soon, her business expanded into The Grocery Game that it is today. Thanks to her franchising efforts, The Grocery Game is now available in all 50 states and seven countries.
